MORAN FURNITURE: GLOBAL WARRANTY – INDOOR FURNITURE ONLY
MORAN FURNITURE PROVIDES THIS WARRANTY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER FROM THE DATE OF DELIVERY. TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
ALL SOFA PRODUCTS ARE COVERED BY A (1) YEAR WARRANTY
5 YEAR WARRANTY on FRAMES
- The internal and/or external structural frame elements are warranted against breakage for a period of (5) years.
2 YEAR WARRANTY* on CUSHION INSERTS & FIBRE FILLING, MATTRESSES, MANUAL OR ELECTRICAL MECHANISMS, SUSPENSION SYSTEMS, WOOD TRIM, FINISHING, LEATHER & FABRIC
*After the first year this warranty covers parts and materials only and not the labor required for repairs.
Please note that softening of cushioning materials and stretching of leather is to be expected as a result of normal use, not to be confused with defects in materials or workmanship.
- Seat and back inserts including foams & fiber inserts are warranted for a period of (2) years.
Loss of foam resiliency should not be confused with softening of foam or stretched covers, which may result from
normal use. Owners of upholstered furniture should also expect foam and fiber fillings to compact over time.
- Fabric covers are warranted for a period of (2) years against seam slippage, fraying and dye transfers.
The warranty on fabric covers does not include:
- i) Tears, flattening of nap, pilling, fading or shrinkage and is invalid when heavy soiling or abuse is evident.
- ii) Normal fading, damage due to improper use, damage from lack of required caution and/or irregular care and maintenance.
iii) Stretching of fabric from the relaxing or loosening of the covers is normal and will result from general daily use.
- Leather covers are warranted for a period of (2) years against splitting and/or tearing.
The warranty on leather covers does not include:
- i) Natural markings, wrinkling, variations in grain or coloration and other natural characteristics of genuine leather.
- ii) Cracking/peeling of leather
THIS WARRANTY APPLIES UNDER CONDITIONS OF NORMAL RESIDENTIAL USE
It does not apply to damage incurred as a result of abuse, mistreatment, negligence, misuse or acts of God; damage cause by cuts, burns, animals or clothing etc.; damage caused by cleaning, exposure to chemicals and foreign substances; any type of non-residential use (such as commercial, rental, institutional, contract, etc.); damage cause by exposure to direct sunlight or bright lights, heat or similar conditions; damage caused by contact with ink, paint, corrosive or chemical materials or products or human/animal bodily fluids; damage incurred during transport, handling, assembly or installation; accidental damage by any use which the product was not intended; damage on products sold “as is” or previously used as floor samples; any products that have been previously repaired or serviced.
NOTE: TRANSPORTATION AND DELIVERY DAMAGE IS EXCLUDED. ALTERATIONS OF ANY TYPE TO THE PRODUCT BY THE CONSUMER WILL NULLIFY THE WARRANTY ENTIRELY.
Claims or requests for assistance: Under this warranty claims must be initially presented to the authorized dealer of the original purchase. Dated proof of purchase and delivery from the original authorized dealer is required, a complete description and clear photos of the concern. This Limited Warranty extends only to the original owner of the product.
Claims and requests for service must be made promptly and within thirty (30) days after the defect could have been discovered through reasonable diligence by the purchaser or fourteen (14) days after purchase for visible defects noted upon delivery.
